Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Transmission & Grid System Company (KPT&GSC) is incorporated as a Public Limited Company under the Companies Act 2017. The company aims to develop and operate High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) Transmission & Grid Networks up to 500KV.
The company is seeking a seasoned professional with exceptional leadership skills to navigate a challenging environment and achieve company objectives. The position demands full-time commitment and focused attention.
Position Details
Position Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Salary & Age
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized university (or a reputable foreign institution with HEC equivalency).
- Must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) will be an advantage.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in the power sector.
- At least 10 years of experience in Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission and grids.
- Minimum 2 years in a senior leadership/management role (equivalent to BPS-20 or higher), demonstrating strategic decision-making and governance capabilities.
- Proven track record in executing and managing large-scale power transmission projects of 132KV and above (transmission lines and grid stations).
- Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance, NEPRA rules, and Pakistan’s electricity market framework.
Core Competencies & Skills:
- Strategic leadership with the ability to drive company objectives in a challenging environment.
- Strong understanding of power transmission planning, operations, and maintenance.
- Expertise in project management, ensuring timely execution within budget and quality standards.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory policies, including NEPRA Act, Grid Code, and relevant transmission licensing regulations.
- Effective stakeholder management, including government bodies, regulatory authorities, and lenders.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership abilities.
Preferred Certifications (if any):
- Project Management: PMP, PRINCE2.
- Quality & Energy Management: ISO 9001 / ISO 50001 certification.
- Corporate Governance & Leadership Training.
Salary & Age
- Salary: MP Scale as per the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Maximum Age Limit: As per company policy (62 Years).
