PESHAWAR, KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA – The KP Transmission & Grid System Company (KPT&GSC), under the Energy & Power Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has announced a Request for Proposals (RFP) for consultancy services to conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for key transmission projects across the province.
The RFP seeks experienced consultancy firms to prepare detailed feasibility studies aimed at enhancing the transmission infrastructure from PEDO power houses to KP Economic Zones and various industrial units. The studies will be conducted using the Quality & Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method, ensuring a balanced evaluation of technical merit and financial competitiveness.
Scope of Work Includes:
- Feasibility Study for interconnection of 11 HPPs of PEDO in Swat Valley with the 220 kV Kalam-Chakdara Transmission Line.
- Feasibility for Direct Power Dispersal from 18MW PEHUR HPC to GADOON AMAZAI Industrial Units.
- Feasibility Study for Power Evacuation from PEDO Power Houses to KP Economic Zones & Various Industrial Units.
- Feasibility Study and Power Evacuation Plan for approximately 3000 MW via a Proposed 500 kV Grid Station and Interconnected 220 kV Transmission Lines from Chitral to Chakdara.
- Preparation of Business Plans for KP Transmission Lines and Grid System (KPT&GSC).
Eligibility Criteria:
Interested consultancy firms must possess active registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and KP Revenue Authority (KPRA), along with relevant experience in similar projects.

- E-bids must be submitted via EPADS by 2:00 PM on February 27, 2026.
- A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 10:30 AM on February 16, 2026, at the KPT&GSC office in Peshawar.
Bid Opening:
Technical bids will be opened at 2:30 PM on February 27, 2026, at the office of the Chief Executive Officer, KPT&GSC. Only technically responsive bidders will proceed to the financial bid opening.
Important Notes:
- Incomplete or incorrect submissions will be disqualified as per KPPRA regulations.
- All applicable federal and provincial taxes will be deducted as per government policy.
- KPT&GSC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in accordance with KPPRA Rules 2014.
